Shear Artistry "The Detroit Salon Collection" Is a one stop shop, multicultural full service salon. Opened in 2017 by owner and lead Master Cosmetologist, Amanda Long, after beginning her career in the industry at the age of 16, and now having dedicated over 20 years to a passion she loves more than ever.  In this ever so divided society, she had a profound desire to create an environment where people from all walks of life could come together, get pampered and leave feeling confident and beautiful. At Shear Artistry  we pride ourselves on being a family oriented salon offering all styles and servicing all hair textures and skin types, ensuring everyone's needs are catered to with expert care. We are committed to our community therefore we utilize our skills and resources to give back to our youth, elderly, disabled and less fortunate by way of our community outreach programs. We have programs such as school giveaways, food/clothes drives, grocery delivery, youth mentorship/tutoring, temporary employment opportunities and mobile hair services for the elderly and disabled. It is our priority that our community has access to luxury beauty care therefore it is our mission to "Unite Our Community One Strand at a Time".
